Banks Report Strong Loan Growth in 2007
Portorož, 22 May - Slovenian banks reported a 40% rise in loans last year, with loans to businesses leading the way, participants of a financial conference heard in Portoroz on Thursday. The quick growth was fuelled by brisk economic growth, central bank official Bozo Jasovic said.
