Ministry Tells Italian Ambassador Gorizia Decree Not European
Ljubljana, 24 May - Italian Ambassador to Slovenia Daniele Verga was summoned to the Foreign Ministry on Friday over a decree by the Gorizia city administration that restricts bilingual notices in the border town to only three city quarters. The ministry told Verga that the decree ran counter to European principles.
