Parliament Passes Supplementary Budget for 2008

Ljubljana, 30 May - Parliament passed the supplementary budget for 2008 in a 41:2 vote on Friday. Spending has been cut by EUR 49.7m to EUR 8.82bn. Revenues are projected to increase by EUR 250m to EUR 8.88bn, turning the originally projected deficit of EUR 230.4m into a EUR 69.4m surplus.
