Commission Launches Infringement Proceedings Against Slovenia
Brussels, 5 June - The European Commission said on Thursday it launched infringement procedures against eleven member states, including Slovenia, for failure to transpose the cross-border mergers directive to national legislation. The directive should have been transposed before the end of 2007.
