Sovre Prize Handed to Translator of Andreas Meier
Ljubljana, 19 June - Urska P. Cerne, the translator of "Waeldchestag" by German novelist Andreas Maier, received on Thursday the Sovre prize for best translation in 2008. Cerne's translation keeps all the linguistic, situational and mood registers of the original, the jury wrote.
