Provinces Referendum: Coalition and Opposition Strongly Divided on Results

Ljubljana, 22 June - The coalition and opposition are strongly divided on the meaning of the results of Sunday's government-sponsored referendum on provinces. While the bulk of the government parties say that the record low turnout does not change the fact that the yes camp won, the opposition says the turnout is a slap in the face for the ballot's sponsors.
