Slovenia Marks 17 Years of Independence

Ljubljana, 25 June - Slovenia will almost come of age on Wednesday as it celebrates the 17th anniversary of its independence. National Day marks 25 June 1991, when the Slovenian Assembly passed the Basic Constitutional Charter and the Declaration of Independence.
