Mercator Gains Fail to Inspire Other Blue Chips

Ljubljana, 7 July - A strong day for shares of retailer Mercator, which put on 2.4%, failed to inspire the whole market on Monday. The SBI 20 benchmark index fell for a fifth day in a row, shedding 9.45 points to 7,547.34, while the SBI TOP index edged 1.15 points lower to 1,671.62.
