Basketball: Puerto Rico Ends Slovenia's Olympic Dream

Athens, 18 July - The Slovenian men's basketball team has been eliminated from the Athens qualifying tournament for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Puerto Rico beat the Slovenians with 81:70 (21:15, 34:34, 59:52) in the quarterfinals on Friday to advance to the semifinals of the tournament which will send the best three teams to Beijing.
