Premiere League Footballers Go on Strike
Ljubljana, 18 July - Slovenian football players will not play Saturday's first round of the national league as the Association of Premier League clubs (ZNPL) failed to meet the athletes' demands, the SPINS professional footballers' trade union said on Friday. Two clubs have meanwhile said they are nevertheless willing to play.
