EU Upbeat about Prospects for Middle East
Brussels, 22 July - Prospects for a peace deal between Israel and the Palestinians by the end of the year were assessed as favourable as EU foreign ministers were briefed on the situation Tuesday by Middle East envoy Tony Blair. "There are chances that something will happen in the Middle East," Slovenia's Dimitrij Rupel said.
