Court: Zalar No Longer Entitled to Question Contentious Appointment

Ljubljana, 24 July - The saga concerning the failure of Justice Minister Lovro Sturm to appoint in July 2007 Ales Zalar for another term at the helm of the Ljubljana District Court, got a new chapter on Thursday. In a reversal of its initial ruling, the Administrative Court decided Zalar no longer had basis to challenge Sturm's decision.
