NLB Group's Profit Down in First Half of 2008

Ljubljana, 29 July - The group around Slovenia's biggest bank, NLB, posted a pre-tax profit of EUR 84.16m in the first half of 2008, down 32% compared to the same period last year. The pre-tax profit of the core bank amounted to EUR 80.71m, down 27% year-on-year, the bank said on Tuesday.
