55,829 Private Companies in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 5 April - SLOVENIA/ENTREPRENEURS/NUMBER/STRUCTURE
There are 55,829 private companies in Slovenia, according to the most recent data of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Slovenia. The Association predicts that these companies will employ about 90,000 people in 1995. The fast growth of the number of these companies and their employees reflects political and economical changes such as the restructuring of companies, and privatization.
