Prime Minister Visits Storm-Hit Region
Ptuj, 16 August - Prime Minister Janez Jansa visited on Saturday the region of Podravje, which was hardest-hit by Friday's hailstorm. Jansa met in Ptuj the head of the Slovenian Civil Protection and Rescue Service, Miran Bogataj, who briefed him on the damage. The first damage estimates are yet to be reported.
