Basketball: Smodis First Foreigner to Captain CSKA Moscow
Moscow, 22 September - Slovenian basketball player Matjaz Smodis has been named the new captain of perennial Russian and reigning Euroleague champion CSKA Moscow. The 28-year-old, who has been with CSKA since 2005, is the first foreigner to have the honour of captaining the club.
