Majority of Slovene Exporters Believes Slovenia Should Enter EU

The Majority of Slovene exporters (92 percent) believe that Slovenia should become an European union (EU) member, while only eight percent disagree. Nearly six tenths (57 percent) believe that the year 2005 is the "dead-line" for Slovenia to become an EU member, and slightly less than one third of Slovene exporters believe that Slovenia should enter EU by 2000, according to the opinion poll on the opinion of Slovene exporters on Slovenia's efforts to join EU. The opinion poll was carried out in March by Gral Marketing at the initiative of the Manager Association.
