Topic of the Week: Two Basic Documents on Wage Policy Signed

Ljubljana, 15 April - GOVERNMENT/SALARIES
The three social partners, the government, employers and employees (trade unions) signed an Agreement on Wage Policy and Tariff Amendment to the General Collective Agreement for Economy on Thursday; i.e. two weeks after the Social Agreement was signed. This sets the basis of the annual economic and social policy in Slovenia, for the documents define the ways of accounting and paying wages as well as their amount from 1 April 1995 to 31 March 1996, or until a new agreement is reached.
