Brzezinski Discusses NATO Expanding with Foreign Committee

Ljubljana, 20 April - SLOVENIA/PARLIAMENT/BRZEZINSKI
Counsellor to the Center for International and Strategic Studies from the USA Zbigniew Brzezinski, who is visiting Slovenia, on Thursday met Foreign Minister Zoran Thaler and members of Slovene Parliament Foreign Committee (OMO). In the Parliament he mostly discussed the role of the USA in a new Europe, an expansion of the NATO, and also the possibilities for Slovenia to join this process. Brzezinski maintains that Slovenia will sooner enter the European Union than the NATO.
