Ljubljana Archbishop Šuštar Announced His Resigning in Autumn

Ljubljana Archbishop and Slovene Metropolitan Alojzij Šuštar could not say a chrismatory mass due to health problems. In his speech sent through his Deputy Bishop Jože Kvas, Šuštar also mentioned his intention to offer his resignation within this year. Archbishop Šuštar will on 14 November celebrate his 75th birthday. In such cases, the Church law envisages that a bishop or archbishop offers his resignation to the Pope.
