Slovene Parliament on Monday refused to appoint Lojze Peterle, former foreign minister and president of the Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD), head of Parliamentary Committee of Foreign relations. 32 legislators voted against and 27 for Lojze Peterle to be appointed to this post.
