SDS Opposes Govt Decision to Raise Excise Duties

Ljubljana, 11 December - The opposition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) criticised on Thursday yesterday's government decision to gradually raise excise duties for fuel, as oil prices are expected to fall over the next months. SDS deputy and former Finance Minister Andrej Vizjak said the measure was "completely off the mark and unnecessary at this moment."
