Economist Calls for Hike in Fuel Duty

Ljubljana, 12 December - A Slovenian economist has called for a hike in the excise duty on fuel which would lead to a significant increase in petrol prices. Mico Mrkaic says in an op-ed for the daily Finance that the extra revenue for the state from such a move would allow the government to reduce taxes on business.
