Unemployment in Slovenia on the Increase

Ljubljana, 15 December - Slovenia's unemployment statistics are deteriorating as companies cut the workforce to cope with the economic crisis. The registered unemployment rate is projected to remain below 7% this year but rise to 8% or even 8.2% in 2009, Marija Poglajen, the director of the Employment Service, said Monday.
