Gorenje to Save Jobs with Shorter Working Week and Lower Wages

Ljubljana, 16 December - Gorenje, the Velenje-based household appliance maker, wants to keep its workers despite the crisis, so the management plans to introduce a 36-hour working week and adopt other measures to avoid layoffs, Franjo Bobinac, the company's CEO, said in an interview for Tuesday's issue of business daily Finance.
