Unions Welcome Rejection of EU Working Time Directive
Ljubljana, 17 December - Slovenia's biggest union confederation, ZSSS, welcomed on Wednesday the decision of the European Parliament to reject the EU working time directive expanding the 48-hour working week. According to ZSSS president Dusan Semolic, the directive would have a very negative effect on workers' health and their security.
