Orthodox Church Celebrates Christmas

Ljubljana, 6 January - Orthodox Christians will celebrate Christmas on Wednesday. Preceding tomorrow's celebrations, the blessing of badnjak, a small oak tree symbolising the strength which Christ brings to the world and people, will take place on Christmas eve, Peran Boskovic, the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church told STA.
