Slovenia Up 7 Places on Economic Freedom Index
Ljubljana, 13 January - Following a slide in 2008, Slovenia gained seven spots to rank 68th in the Index of Economic Freedom for 2009. The survey, conducted by the Heritage Foundation, a Washington think tank, and the Wall Street Journal, once again declared Hong Kong as the "freest" among the 179 countries included.
