MPs Support EU Consumer Directive Only in Principle
Ljubljana, 14 January - The parliamentary Economy Commission was reserved on Wednesday in expressing its support for the new EU directive on consumers' rights. The MPs and Economy Minister Matej Lahovnik, who was also present at the session, are against leaving out the principle of minimum harmonisation, which enables Slovenia better consumer protection.
