Maribor STS Workers Stage Protest in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 29 January - Some 250 workers of the Maribor-based rail vehicle assembly plant STS, which its owner, German industrial group Siemens, plans to close down by the end of September, staged a protest in Ljubljana on Thursday. Prime Minister Borut Pahor promised to arrange talks with Siemens to prevent the shutdown.
