Govt Cuts Foreign Workers Quota

Ljubljana, 29 January - The government on Thursday passed a decree cutting the quota for foreign workers from 32,000 to 24,000 as a measure to stabilise the labour market. In 2009, the government will issue fewer work permits and more seasonal work permits.
