Slovenian MEP Organises Jazz Concert to Mark World Cancer Day
Strasbourg, 4 February - Slovenian MEP Lojze Peterle organised a jazz concert in the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Wednesday to mark World Cancer Day. Emphasising in his speech the therapeutic effects of music, Peterle said that music can also successfully symbolise "work in politics, which must be ruled by harmony and openness to compromises".
