Kurenti Chasing away Winter across Slovenia

Ljubljana, 10 February - The National Assembly Speaker Pavel Gantar received in Ljubljana on Tuesday one of the most distinctive Slovenia's traditional Shrovetide costumes - the kurenti from Ptuj, a town with a rich cultural tradition that can be traced back to the Roman times when it was called Petovia.
