Tuerk Opposes Referendum, Criticises Pahor

Ljubljana, 20 February - President Danilo Tuerk believes that the referendum on Croatia's NATO accession is neither necessary nor useful. Speaking to the press on Friday, Tuerk called on Slovenians to think carefully about whether to back the referendum initiative. Tuerk also touched on the border issue with Croatia.
