Rehn: Problems with Croatia's NATO Bid Show Need for Mediation

Brussels, 20 February - European Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn reiterated Friday his position that Slovenia and Croatia should seek EU mediation on the border issue, pointing to the problems surrounding the ratification of Croatia's NATO accession as another argument in support of this option. He expects a clear answer within a fortnight.
