Budget Deficit to Balloon to 2.9% as Govt Ups Spending

Ljubljana, 26 February - The cabinet adopted the supplementary budget for 2009 that envisages a budget deficit of 2.9% of GDP at its session on Thursday. Spending has been increased by nearly EUR 1bn to EUR 9.9bn due to crisis measures.
