Slovenia Eyes Carinthia Vote with Concern

Ljubljana/Klagenfurt, 2 March - The chair of the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, Ivo Vajgl, said on Monday that the victory of the right-leaning Alliance for Austria's Future (BZOe) in the provincial parliamentary election in Carinthia was bad news for all who had hoped for a more tolerant attitude towards the Slovenian minority. The minority is shocked by the results.
