Slovenia Confirms Support for Downgrade of Althea Mission

Prague, 12 March - Attending an informal meeting of EU defence ministers in Prague on Thursday, Slovenia's Ljubica Jelusic told STA that the EU was considering transforming its Althea peace-keeping mission in Bosnia from an executive into a consultative mission. Slovenia would also be willing to participate in such a mission, the minister announced.
