Cigarettes Dearer as Excise Duty Goes Up

Ljubljana, 6 April - The government increased excise duty on tobacco on Monday by EUR 4 per 1,000 cigarettes. As a result the price of Slovenia's best selling cigarettes will rise to EUR 2.35 per pack as of 1 May, according to a press release from Government's Communication Office.
