Recent Bee Deaths Probably Caused By Fipronil Insecticide

Ljubljana, 24 April - The preliminary results of the investigation into Sunday's massive bee deaths indicate that nearly one million bees that died in the northeastern region of Podravje were killed by slow acting insecticide fipronil, Matjaz Kocar of the Agriculture Ministry told the press in Ljubljana on Friday.
