Banks in Slovenia Increasing Impairment and Provisions

Ljubljana, 6 May - Slovenian banks in March more than doubled their impairment and provisions formed in the two preceding months. This reflects a deterioration in the quality of the investment portfolio and is becoming a key factor in the bank's falling profits, Slovenia's central bank said in its latest bulletin, published on Wednesday.
