Maribor, 23 May - Defence Minister Ljubica Jelusic visited on Saturday the training centres of Slovenian Territorial Defence at Pekre near Maribor to honour the Pekre incident - the first clash between the emerging Slovenian armed forces and the Yugoslav People's Army (JLA) and a prelude to the 1991 war for Slovenia's independence.
