Slovenian Basketball Team Departs For Mediterranean Games in France

Ljubljana, 12 June - SPORT/MEDITERRANEAN/GAMES/BASKETBALL/SLOVENIA
The Slovenian basketball team departed today for the Mediterranean Games to be held in Montpellier, France. The team is constituted of the same members who played and won at the qualifying match for the European Championships held in Warsaw, Poland, with the exception of Žarko Djurišić. The team's trainer, Janez Drvarić, said that Jure Zdovc will also be playing at the Games despite his recent injury, as he hopes he will have sufficiently recovered by the time the team plays in its third match, on June 15 against France.
