The Positions to be Taken by Slovene Delegation at Conference on Human Rights

Ljubljana, 12 June - The members of the Slovenian delegation which is to participate at the International Conference on Human Rights next week in Vienna will "...emphasize the need to ensure the protection of human rights under conditions of structural adaptation in the newly founded democracies, the lack of respect for human rights as being the cause behind the flood of refugees, the need to ensure the respect of the human rights of minorities and the ensurance of the respect of human rights as an element of preventive diplomacy," said head of the delegation and Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle at a press conference today.
