Slovenian Candidate Left without Votes in IAEA

Ljubljana, 9 June - Slovenia's candidate for the next director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Ernest Petric, failed to get a single vote at an informal vote on the successor of Mohamed El Baradei at the IAEA Board of Governors, French press agency AFP reported on Tuesday. Petric said he would consider withdrawal.
