Troubled Railway Operator Looking to Save EUR 47M

Ljubljana, 11 June - The accumulated loss of EUR 20m in the first five months of 2009 has forced the Slovenian railways operator Slovenske zeleznice to introduce strict cost-cutting measures aimed at saving a total of EUR 47m. The measures will also include cutting labour costs by about EUR 11m.
