Drnovšek Answers Clinton's Letter
Ljubljana, 4 June - DRNOVŠEK/CLINTON
Slovenia considers the NATO one of the foundation stones for the enforcement of security in Europe and inaugoration of the overseas partnership, Janez Drnovšek, President of the Slovene Government, says in answer to the US President Bill Clinton's letter. The expansion of the NATO into Central and the Eastern Europe will provide an environment for the enforcement of parliamentary democracy, free-market economy, the protection of human rights, and law-ruled state. The US play the key role in overseas partnership and are one of the key factors in the enforcement of security in Europe, Drnovšek adds.
