Ekonomsko ogledalo (Economic Mirror): Process of Slowing Down Inflation Could Be Retarded

Ljubljana, 4 June - April saw an average of 0.1-percent decrease in prices. The decrease was mostly of a seasonal character (change to the summer rate of electricity, food prices), which is demonstrated by a 0.5 percent increase in inflation in May, reports the monthly Ekonomsko ogledalo (Economic Mirror) in May, citing the National Office for Macro-economic Analysis. The trend of slowing down the inflation has been much stronger than anticipated from the price movements, but not as intensive as anticipated from the last three months' inflation rates.
