Govt Adopts Plan to Curb Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Ljubljana, 30 July - Environment Minister Karl Erjavec said after a government session on Thursday that Slovenia failed to meet the requirements of the Kyoto obligations. The country's CO2 emissions level stands at 20m kilotonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year, exceeding the Kyoto limit by about 1m kilotonnes.
