Kucan: Both Sides' Wishes Respected in Slovenia-Croatia Talks

Maribor/Ljubljana/Zagreb, 5 August - Former President of Slovenia Milan Kucan has rejected a recent statement by Croatian President Stipe Mesic that his predecessor, the late Franjo Tudjman, and Slovenian officials only debated ways of allowing Slovenia access to the open sea, saying that he and his Croatian counterparts always looked for solutions to satisfy both sides.
